While our focus is on finding the appropriate attorney candidates for our clients, MillerBlowers prides itself on establishing long-lasting, strategic relationships. We’re happy to provide clients our institutional knowledge, free of charge, concerning the latest data on the legal employment marketplace, including hiring trends, compensation levels and other pertinent information. We’ve built a broad clientele over the last four decades based in large part on referrals. Our clients include AmLaw 100 and 200 law firms, Global 1000 companies, and smaller firms and corporations across the East Coast. We’re actively involved in M&A, practice group acquisitions, and new market expansions.

Your Recruiting Needs

Law firms and corporations turn to legal recruiters when they haven’t been able to fill a lateral position through normal hiring channels. We assist our clients by prescreening candidates according to the criteria provided, seeking out candidates to whom our clients would normally not have access, providing information to candidates promoting the firm or corporation, and diffusing incorrect and potentially damaging information about the client. The best candidates are often not in the job market. By relying on old-fashioned “headhunting,” we identify those candidates and let them know how our clients present a new and often better opportunity.

Our Process

Once we’ve identified a candidate that meets the client’s requirements, we send a detailed, confidential cover letter emphasizing the candidate’s accomplishments and explaining why the candidate is interested in the position. If an interview is desired, we help facilitate the arrangements. Following the interview, we provide feedback and act as a liaison between the client and the candidate. If an offer is made, we are happy to assist in negotiating the terms. MillerBlowers works on either a contingency or a retained search basis.
